The Library and Documentation Center "Antonio Maceo" has the category of specialized library, according to those established by the National Network of Libraries of Cuba and has in turn the particularity of being a parliamentary library, which makes it unique in its type in the country.
It is managed by the Independent Library and Parlamentary Classroom Department of the Auxiliary Offices and has a bibliographic collection that constitutes the patrimony of these offices, which must be preserved in accordance with the Plan of Documentary Conservation Measures prepared by the Department.
It aims to: Offer a wide range of services ranging from general and traditional to private and essentially related to its legal and legislative activity.
The mission is: To guarantee the access of the different publics to the information and the knowledge.
They also offer a range of informative products such as billboards, newsletters and magazines. Users received at the library headquarters must comply with the Library's Internal Regulations.
